Hp Photosmart P1000

When asked to install P1000 select cancel. Go into the Settings>Printers>Add New Printer wizard. Select your own drivers and select the HP Scanjet 970Cse drivers for LPT1 (not sure about USB). Then I insert the CF card into the HP PhotoSmart P1000 printer slot, and I select size 9 X 13 cm, and start the printing job. Indeed 3 copies of the picture are printed, but the date is never printed. Why is the date never printed, eventhough the DPOF file indicates that the printer must print the date also?

The only 800 series printer that is a win-printer is the 820. All other DeskJet 800 models support PCL. As for the 1000, that is the DeskJet 1000, not to be confused with the Photosmart P1000 printer. The Photosmart P1000 supports PCL. Regards, Bob Headrick, not speaking for my employer HP.
