I have refilled a HPC6578D cartridge for a friend's HP Photosmart P1000 printer. On refitting the cartridge the ink % full indicator was not reset and still indicated empty. Is there a way around this? I don't think there is any special 'chip' in the cartridge like the Epson 870. Can anyone advise please?
